The SVN Desert Commercial Advisors downtown office team with Justin Horwitz and Paul Borgesen III were named among the 2019 Top Producers of the Year.
Closing approximately 50 deals in 2019, the two senior advisors began the year with almost $19 million in sales in the downtown Phoenix area, according to a press release.
They even represented the buyer, Jonathan Vento with True North Studios in several local acquisitions, namely the Roosevelt Row District, the release said.
Their part in selling the O’Neil Printing Building was noted as a significant, recognizable deal throughout the Valley, representing the buyer in the The O’Neil Printing building sale.
The transaction will bring some real estate development for the 2nd Ave and Fillmore Street area during the next year, thanks to the duo who also received the award for the ‘2019 Deal of the Year’ at SVN, noted the release.
“Aside from this being a substantial deal seize at just over $9 million, this particular transaction took two escrows and over three years of time to formalize which ultimately made it that much more memorable,” said Mr. Horwitz in a prepared statement.
“In 2019 professional growth and education has always been a big part of our team. It was a bit of a challenge to find the time for this but we made it a priority.”
“Justin and Paul are a prime example of what can be accomplished with consistent hard work over an extended period of time. They continue to see the bar higher and higher for themselves,” said Perry Laufenberg, of SVN, in a prepared statement.
