During the Sept. 11 meeting of the West Valley Genealogical Society, Daughter Carolyn Filer, Sun City National Honor Society Daughters of the American Revolution, Agua Fria Chapter, donated about 40 genealogy books to the WVGS library.
WVGS Director of Collections Della Jones accepted the donation of books, which will either be placed on the shelves or sold if they are duplicates.
The WVGS hosts monthly meetings every second Monday of the month, September-May. The WVGS library is located at 12222 N. 111th Ave.
WVGS Books and Maps Accessioner Lynne Corbett helped Filer and Jones load a car with the boxes of books.
