Good letters [and Valley Voices] in the paper by Venice (“Responds to accusations against liberals,” Daily Independent, Aug. 10, 2021) and Morien (“Not done yet, reply readers,” Daily Independent, Aug. 10, 2021).

I am an independent and so happy that more people in our state are becoming independents.

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a few people run as independents and vote their conscience instead of the party line?

How refreshing!
