Shoppers Supply, a local family-owned and operated retailer, is celebrating the opening of its third Valley location at 8454 S. Power Road in Gilbert, March 3-5.
Weekend festivities will include giveaways, vendors, raffles, and entertainment at the Gilbert location and exclusive in-store sales at all three locations.
“We are looking forward to celebrating our new Gilbert location,” Shoppers Supply Vice President Ryan Beenken said in a release. “The community has been so supportive. We are proud to be able to help our Gilbert customers with all their needs, from outdoor equipment and sporting goods to pet supplies, clothing, power tools and more. We hope everyone will come out for a fun afternoon.”
The first 100 families through the doors at the Gilbert location each day March 3-5 will receive a gift card ranging from $25-$500. Additionally, five raffle tickets will be given at the door giveaways.
Additionally, from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. Saturday, March 4, Roots N’ Boots royalty will be signing autographs and Xtreme Bulls will be on-site with a PBR bucking bull. Various vendors will also be in attendance doing giveaways, and leashed pets are welcome.
All three locations will offer 25% off clothing, footwear and apparel, and 10% off everything else in-store each day.
The stores’ hours are 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m. Sunday.
Originally founded in 1966, George Schmidt opened the first Shoppers Supply in the rural town of Spencer, Iowa. Starting as a fleet and farm operation, it is now a successful multi-store retail business. The company closed its Iowa stores in 2011, moving the entire company to Arizona, headquartered in Chandler. Shoppers Supply remains a family business run by three generations.
