The city of Peoria and Steve LeVine Entertainment & Public Relations announces the return of Second Saturdays.
The free, family-friendly event takes place the second Saturday of each month starting Oct. 9 and runs through May 14, 2022.
Second Saturdays will take place on Jefferson Street and 83rd Avenue in Old Town Peoria from 5 to 9 p.m.
Second Saturdays will feature themes each month, kicking off with “The Great Pumpkin” in October.
With a changing lineup of activities and entertainment monthly, the event will feature a night market curated with a mix of special vendors, outdoor games, art installations, pop-up restaurants from local gourmet chefs, as well as live music and a variety of performers.
“We are thrilled to announce the return of Second Saturdays. We look forward to celebrating what the city of Peoria is all about — community, culture and togetherness,” said Arts and Events Manager Marylou Stephens.
Second Saturdays will adhere to the guidelines set in place by the CDC, and the Maricopa Health Department.
Participants are encouraged to follow the recommended COVID-19 health and safety guidelines of the state.
SLE CEO Steve LeVine said there will be a variety of new entertainment from around the state each month as well as local favorites from the Peoria area.
“We are excited to partner with the city of Peoria to bring Second Saturdays back in person to celebrate the culture and local businesses the city has to offer.”
