The 36-member Salt River Brass Band, led by Maestro Julie Des- Bordes, presents “Love Poems,’’ its springtime season finale, 3 p.m. Sun- day, April 13, at American Lutheran Church, 17200 N. Del Webb Blvd.

The afternoon features the music of Stephen Sondheim, Duke Elling- Ton, Cole Porter and Louis Arm-strong. Singer Carol Fitzpatrick will perform and there will be a collaboration with the Salt River Youth Brass Band.

Founded by its performers in 1988, Salt River Brass has graced venues throughout the Valley and state, including Gammage Auditorium, Chandler Center for the Arts, Symphony Hall, the Orpheum and, since 2009, an annual season at Mesa Arts Center.

It regularly hosts premier guest soloists from around the world.

Tickets – $30 for adults and $10 for students (ages 21 and younger) – are available at www.saltriverbrass.org or in-person at the event.
