Royal Palms continues concerts, classic movies

Back by popular demand, Royal Palms Resort and Spa is extending its free Live Music & Classic Movie Series with local musicians, timeless films and the stunning views of Camelback Mountain.

Set within the historic estate’s Vernadero Lawn at the foot of Camelback Mountain, socially distanced “seating pods” are setup under a canopy of string lights with a range of comfortable offerings including couches and lounge chairs, cocktail tables with chairs and poufs on the ground for a relaxed option.

Gourmet snack boxes are available for purchase for $25 each and include goodies like cheese and charcuterie or fresh-made pastries such as French macarons, truffles and cookies. Wine and cocktails are also for sale for those 21 and over, according to a press release.

The free event held at Royal Palms Resort and Spa, 5200 E. Camelback Road in Phoenix, is open to the public. Reservations are not required but attendance is on a first-come, first-served basis for the socially-distanced. Masks are required everywhere on-property except for when guests are within their distanced seating pod, the release said.

Concerts and movies start at 6 p.m., noted the release, detailing the Royal Palms Live Music & Classic Movie Series.
