A WW 2 Veteran, Bob served overseas in Germany as a radio operator and was on duty when the German general in his region surrendered to the Allied Forces. After his tour in the Army, he graduated from Beloit College and started a career in the insurance business spanning over fifty years. He was risk manager of John Deere Corporation until 1976. He and Millie then moved to Arizona where Bob began a consulting relationship with Del Webb Corporation. Bob will be remembered as a wonderful husband, incredibly supportive father, and an extremely caring grandfather with a loving and bluntly honest approach to life. His beloved lifelong pursuits were hunting and fishing as well as supporting local professional sports teams. He took well deserved pride in being an old fashioned outdoorsman.
