Robert (Bob) Francis Nesvick Jr.

Robert, 70, passed away on Jan. 31, 2021, in Sun City West, AZ. Bob was born on June 6, 1950, in Holyoke, MA.
He served in the Alaska State Troopers from 1974 to 1990, retiring at the rank of Corporal. Bob also retired from the US Airforce Reserve as a Special Agent with the Office of Special Investigation. He went on to serve as the Chief of Police in Metlakatla, AK from 1993 to 1995 and with the U.S. Customs Service from 2001 to 2009.
In 1999, he met Sandra Lemke Pratz in Juneau, Alaska and they married on Sept. 30, 2005, in Anchorage, AK. They lived in Anchorage, AK and then Washington State, finally settling in Arizona.
Bob is survived by his wife Sandy of Sun City West, AZ. His sons, Robert F. Nesvick III (Misty) of Anchorage; Joseph Nesvick of Eatonville, WA; David Ertel (Kara) of Eatonville, WA. Bob is also survived by two sisters, Diane Nesvick of Anchorage; and Cynthia Nesvick also of Anchorage; brother James Nesvick (Kim) of Anchorage; granddaughter, Mariona Nesvick; granddaughter Ariya Ertel; grandson, Kieran Ertel; and numerous nieces; great nieces and great nephews. He is further survived by two stepsons, Peter Pratz (Rashelle) of Gig Harbor, WA and Chris Pratz (Kelly) of Pinebluff, NC and four step grandchildren, Mason, Caden, Sydney and Jordan he is also survived by former wife and mother of his sons, Bonnie Nesvick of Eatonville, WA. Bob was preceded in death by his father Robert F. Nesvick, Sr in 2019 and mother Mary M. (Friel) Nesvick, in 2001.
A Memorial service was held on February 11, 2021 at Lord of Life Lutheran Church Chapel, Sun City West, AZ.
