Rigsby wins first place for poem answering ‘What I Love About Gold Canyon’

Bonnie Rigsby recently won first place for her written poem and YouTube video answering "What I Love About Gold Canyon…”

“‘Gold Canyon Strong’ had a contest where people could submit any form of creativity whether a drawing, a video, poem, etc., about what they love about Gold Canyon,” June Marie Russo of Gold Canyon Strong said.

The poem starts with “The gems in Gold Canyon’s crown are far too many to mention, but I’ll focus on some favorites that demand my attention. Our Gold Canyon neighbors look out for one another, much like the 'olden' days, and our community shows their support in many warm and loving ways. This paradise called home shows us endless scenic beauty, and our residents take pride in caring for it, knowing it's their civic duty.”

Ms. Rigsby is owner of Let Your Soul Breathe LLC in Gold Canyon.
