Porta: Wearing no masks is disrespectful in Sun Cities

A medical procedure brought us to Banner Boswell Medical Center, 10401 W. Thunderbird Blvd., Sun City recently.
Beautiful facility with new addition, I might add.
While I was waiting for my husband, I could not help but notice how many visitors were not wearing masks. Medical staff was aware, but busy with tasks at hand. Thank you!
I think this is so disrespectful to the staff and doctors. They have spent the last two years of their lives getting us through this pandemic. Exhausted, weary of being fearful but yet still there every day doing their jobs. Of all the places to try to make a statement about mask vs. not wearing a mask, the hospital is not the place to make it.
I really believe when the hospital staff takes off their masks, then it will be OK to not wear yours.
