The Maricopa County Examiner’s Office has identified the body pulled out of the Arizona Canal as missing 23-year-old Scottsdale resident, Robert Anthony Cuillo.

Cuillo was last seen around 1 a.m. July 17, in Old Town Scottsdale officials say.

On July 19, the Scottsdale Police Department announced a white male’s body was found in the Arizona Canal near Scottsdale and Camelback roads.

“The Maricopa County Medical Examiners Office has identified the body found to be 23 year old, Robert Anthony Cuillo. No further updates are available,” said Sgt. Kevin Quon, a spokesman for the Scottsdale Police Department.
