Pinal County environmental health code revision meeting Tuesday
Posted
Pinal County Environmental Health invites all to participate in a stakeholder meeting to discuss a revision to environmental health code.
“The goals of this revision are to revise our permit structure for clarity and efficiency, without affecting fees, and to revise the code to bring it up to date as required with recent revisions to the Arizona Administrative Code, Title 9, Chapter 8,” according to a release.
Substantive changes to the code include:
Chapter I – General provisions;
Chapter II – Food establishments;
Chapter IV – Recreational vehicles and parks;
Chapter VI – Campgrounds and children’s camps; and
Chapter VII – Lodging establishments.
Other non-substantive changes were made within the code for clarity or to correct typographical errors. Copies of the current code and the draft revision to the code are at pinal.gov/EnvironmentalHealth/Documents/EnvironmentalHealthCodeRevision-Draft.pdf.
The two-hour stakeholder meeting will be held virtually at 1 p.m. Tuesday, July 20.
RSVP as soon as possible via email to envhealth@pinal.gov to participate in the stakeholder meeting. Virtual attendance is capped, so if necessary, additional meetings may be scheduled on a first-come, first-served basis.
Upon RSVP, virtual attendance information will be sent via email. If you cannot attend the meeting, comments may be also sent to envhealth@pinal.gov.
