Phoenix Rescue Mission to donate 30,000 masks to Glendale orgs Thursday

Posted

Phoenix Rescue Mission, in partnership with the Glendale Strong Family Network, will donate 30,000 masks to various nonprofits and organizations throughout Glendale in an effort to ensure families get the support they need while helping to reduce the long-term effects of this pandemic.

The Covid-19 pandemic has affected thousands of families across the Valley  who have lost jobs, been furloughed, or have otherwise seen their income dry up with no warning during the past few months.

Officials said efforts like this will help to reduce the spread of the virus and help those who are less fortunate get the protection they need.

An event will be held 9:30 a.m.-noon Thursday at Phoenix Rescue Mission's Donation Warehouse, 3440 W. Lewis Ave., Building A, Suite G in Phoenix.
