In honor of World Women's Wellness Day on Friday, April 25, the local nonprofits Phillips Law Foundation and Women4Women Tempe are teaming up to host its Period Packing Party, where volunteers will assemble hundreds of period kits with feminine hygiene products for women in need at Phillips Law Group's Phoenix conference room from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. (3101 N. Central Ave, Suite 1500, Phoenix, AZ 85012).
The donations will primarily help those experiencing homelessness and low-income women who are forced to choose between basic hygiene and other essential items like food or clothing. The foundation will provide appetizers and drinks for all volunteers at the event.
