Ooley: Rep. Gosar taking credit for bill he opposed

Posted

Rep. Paul Gosar pulls teeth but now he’s pulling one over on his constituents.

He has been Tweeting and putting out information on how he’s so pleased to inform us that municipalities and airports in his district are receiving federal funds and grants for various projects. As if he had anything to do with it.

Rep. Gosar has been spreading the “big lie” for months. It’s no great surprise that he’s just perpetuating another lie.

The funds he’s touting were a result of legislation HR7617 - The Defense, Commerce, Justice, Science, Energy and Water Development, Financial Services and General Government, Labor, Health and Human Services, Education, Transportation, Housing, and Urban Development Appropriations Act of 2021.

Rep. Gosar voted against this bill. And now he is trying to take credit for the allocation of funds derived from this bill. For more information on the “big lie” go to removepaulgosar.org.
