Northwest Valley Connect seeks your help

Posted

Many of us are feeling the need to do something purposeful these days. At Northwest Valley Connect we can connect you to a variety of purposeful work. Here are some of the important community services our volunteers provide.

Driver. Come drive with us! We welcome retired bus drivers and truck drivers. Drive one of our vehicles or your personal vehicle.

We serve some of the happiest, most grateful clients. Whether our client is going to a doctor’s appointment or the senior center they are most appreciative of the service we provide. All rides are in the West Valley. Shifts are four hours a week Monday through Friday. Training is provided. Schedule is flexible.

Data entry. Collecting data on the work we do is essential to achieving funding for a nonprofit like Northwest Valley Connect.

Volunteers can work in our small office or from home. Hours vary. Training provided. Schedule is flexible.

Office assistants. These volunteers help keep our small but mighty operations team organized by completing work on documents, filing and other assorted office type duties.

Organizing freaks welcome! Hours vary. Flexible schedule Monday through Friday.

Advocacy. Civic minded volunteers help bring attention to issues that affect residents in our communities. Through letter writing, calls, attending meetings or visiting the Legislature in downtown Phoenix, these volunteers amplify a citizen voice where it’s needed. Training provided. Hours vary. Schedule is flexible.

There are other ways to help. As a nonprofit, NVC is donation driven. As we continue to serve the West Valley community, we welcome your help. Your financial assistance helps keep our vehicles on the road and allows us to continue to serve our clients.

Donations can be made online at www.northwestvalleyconnect.org or at our mailing address: Northwest Valley Connect, PO Box 9303, Surprise, AZ 85374.
