A night market celebrating Asian food and culture is coming to the East Valley.

The Metro Phoenix Night Market will go from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 5 at the AZ International Marketplace, 1920 W. Broadway Road, in Mesa.

This free Asian event will showcase local food vendors and a variety of Anime/retail vendors. The food festival is about highlighting the diversity of food and an opportunity for small businesses to show their culture through their food.

Parking is free, and organizers encourage carpooling and rideshare. Most vendors will accept both cash and card.

Residents are asked to RSVP to help organizers have an accurate head count to share with food vendors. Guests can also order online from Happy Buns to guarantee availability during the event as they often sell out.

Visit https://www.tickettailor.com/events/nightmarket/1328384/r/eventwebsite to RSVP.

Food and Anime vendors scheduled to appear include Duplex Boba Tea, Hot Bamboo (character bao), Jasperz Island Fusion (jerk chicken bao), Happy Buns (Ube butter mochi, Coconut bao, smoked pork belly bao), and Yuki Cheesecakes (Japanese cheesecake).

Also, look for Miniburi Thai, Sonya Market (sugar cane juice), Tambayan Filipino Food, Eis Cafe (coffee and ice cream), Scooptopia (Filipino), and Chinoz Grill (Asian Fusion).
