New member seated to Pinal County schools board

Pinal County Superintendent of Schools Jill Broussard has announced the appointment of Gilbert Lopez to the Central Arizona College District No. 1 seat on the governing board.

He will fill the vacancy created by the resignation of Gladys Christenson. Lopez will be seated until Dec. 31, 2024.

Lopez works as a director of development services for the city of Coolidge. Previously he was a revitalization administrator for Glendale.  He is an alumnus of the Central Arizona College.
