Mona Shirley Glover

Posted

Mona age 82, was taken home to heaven by her Lord and Savior on January 30, 2021 after being diagnosed with leukemia.  Mona was born in the fall of 1938 in Cambridge, Massachusetts to the late Walter and Muriel (Payne) Zion.  She joins many family members and friends in Glory including her sisters Jean O’Connor, Doris Negos, and brother Joel Costa.
Mona had a generous and loving heart and brought love, joy, and laughter to many friends at First Baptist Church in South Weymouth, Massachusetts; Whispering Pines in Laconia, New Hampshire; and her neighbors and friends in Sun City, Arizona where she attended Grace Bible Church.  Her family is extremely thankful for the love and devotion shown to Mona through the years.   We are also grateful for the special care provided by Infinity Hospice of Phoenix, Arizona.
Mona is survived and greatly missed by her daughter Linda (Modano) McMorrow and son-in-law Rick of Grand Rapids, Michigan; her son Eric Glover and daughter-in-law Amy of Norton, Massachusetts; grandsons Christopher (Jessica) McMorrow and Paul (Danielle) McMorrow, Liam, Eli, Asher, and Silas Glover; and great-grandchildren Preston, Edith, Clark, Wells, and Bennett McMorrow.
Mona also leaves behind her beloved sister, Stephanie Whaley, and brothers Teddy (Laurie) and Kenny Zion, and many loving nieces and nephews.
Donations of Bibles in Mona’s memory may be made to The Gideons International. A memorial service will be held at a later date at the Bristol Bible Church in Norton, Massachusetts.
