Mesa resident recognized as Outstanding Woman in Business

Posted

Kim Marie Branch-Pettid, the owner and CEO of LeTip International Inc., a privately-owned professional business referral networking organization headquartered in Mesa, was recently named an Outstanding Women in Business by the Phoenix Business Journal.

Branch-Pettid was honored for her achievements in growing LeTip in the region and across the country, her strong leadership, and community involvement, according to a release.

Branch-Pettid started her career journey with LeTip as a member when she was a banker, building relationships with other members while passing and receiving business referrals. She was soon offered the position of the regional director of Arizona and quickly rose through the ranks, eventually becoming the new owner of LeTip.

Under her leadership at LeTip, Branch-Pettid has opened the door for new business opportunities for entrepreneurs, launching the first online national member portal for a business networking organization and creating a new avenue for entrepreneurs to become leaders in their business communities through LeTip franchising opportunities, the release states.

“I always tell future women leaders to never give up on themselves. I want them to know that they are their own biggest cheerleaders and toughest critics, and the key to success is believing in yourself even when no one else will,” said Branch-Pettid in an interview with the Phoenix Business Journal about receiving the award, the release states. “The most important thing you can do to be successful is to listen, especially to the people who love you and believe in you.”

A private event celebrating the honorees was held March 24 at the Western Spirit Museum of the West in Scottsdale. The public was invited to watch the event virtually.

“Selecting the winners was not easy as more than 250 nominations were received, reviewed by a panel of judges including previous honorees, and narrowed down to the final 25,” Erin Edgemon, managing editor of the Phoenix Business Journal, said in an article about the award ceremony, the release states.

LeTip continues to grow in communities across the U.S. including Arizona. Chapters in cities such as Scottsdale, Queen Creek, Chandler, Gilbert, Gateway, Tempe and Phoenix meet weekly to exchange qualified leads and build business relationships with other professionals in the area.
