Kurt, Brenda Warner announce annual Celebrity Game Night

Former Arizona Cardinals quarterback Kurt Warner and his wife Brenda will honor former Arizona D-backs player Luis Gonzalez at their third annual Celebrity Game Night on Feb. 22, 2020 in Scottsdale.

Kurt and Brenda Warner are honoring Mr. Gonzalez for his impact both on and off the field, and will be joined by celebrities as well as current and former professional athletes, according to a press release.

The event will be full of game room staples, giving attendees a chance to mingle, play and compete. The program will feature prominent Arizona celebrities competing in game shows and interactive contests.

The keynote of the evening will be a tribute to Mr. Gonzalez, including an in-depth conversation about his life and career.
Kurt and Brenda Warner are raising money for Treasure House, a supportive living environment where young adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities can participate in their community, achieve independence and realize their purpose.

“Luis Gonzalez is an icon in Arizona not only for Game 7 of the 2001 World Series, but for the contributions he has made in our community,” Mr. Warner said in a prepared statement.

“Gonzo has truly been an ambassador for some important causes --- including ones that help individuals with developmental disabilities. It’s our honor to shine the spotlight on his accomplishments while supporting the great work being done at Treasure House.”

Last year, more than 600 people attended the event honoring Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Larry Fitzgerald, raising more than $300,000 for Treasure House.

The 2019 version of the event included such staples as Catch Phrase, Trivial Pursuit and The Price Is Right, a release states.

This year’s event will run from 5:30-10 p.m. at Hangar One Scottsdale. The space will be converted into a giant game room, full of contests such as giant Jenga, pop-a-shot, air hockey and more.

A broad group of celebrities and athletes are expected to take part in the event. The event will also include a special VIP Reception with Mr. Warner and Mr. Gonzalez, where attendees will have an opportunity to visit and take photos with the two.

General admission tickets are $250 at the early bird rate until Feb. 1, and $750 for VIP with special access to the VIP reception at early bird rates until Feb. 1. After Feb. 1, general admission tickets are $300 and VIP tickets are $1,000.
