Heart & Soul Marketing, a recently created marketing and public relations agency, has hired long-time Scottsdale resident Mark Hiegel to become its vice president of business partnerships.
Mr. Hiegel comes to Heart & Soul with a wealth of business development expertise at Wells Fargo, the Scottsdale Chamber of Commerce, Greenberg-Traurig, LLP, and Make-A-Wish America, according to a press release.
Mr. Hiegel also brings over 17 years of local and regional advertising agency experience to the Heart & Soul Team.
Previous roles included serving as the general manager of Lavidge Hiegel Baumayer, now known as the Lavidge Co, and as the managing partner for R&R Partners in Phoenix.
Prior to a career in advertising, Mr. Hiegel was a global marketing and general management executive in the U.S. and Asia with PepsiCo International and The Pepsi Bottling Company — a career path that ironically mirrors Brad Casper’s, the CEO and co-Founder of Heart & Soul.
“When I first met Brad and Matt Moore, I knew I wanted to be a part of what they were building,” said Mr. Hiegel. “At this point in my career, I felt the time was right to help build a business and reshape an industry to be rooted in uncommon creativity. As a natural connector myself, I’m excited to help them build this new agency — one that has the right purpose, values and culture that brands and marketers are looking for.”
For Heart & Soul, this is another major personnel hire after being founded in October 2020. The new position was created with strong alignment for building improved connections to the marketing community and a shared passion for developing truly innovative and creative work focused on human truths and a heightened sense of purpose.
“Mark brings everything we could want in a senior leader to our growing team,” said Heart & Soul CEO and Partner Brad Casper. “He has all the personal intangibles we look for in each of our employees, and he has a history and legacy of building great teams and relationships, locally, nationally and internationally. I have no doubt Mark will fit right in and make an instant impact for our very young agency."
