The Goodyear Fire Department is set to host a 9/11 memorial pancake breakfast on Saturday, Sept. 7.
The event will take place at Fire Station 183, located at 3075 N Litchfield Road, with a flag raising ceremony scheduled to begin at 8 a.m.
This annual event commemorates the events of 9/11, when terrorist attacks claimed nearly 3,000 lives in New York City, Washington, D.C., and Pennsylvania. The breakfast serves as a tribute to the victims and a reminder of the resilience and unity that followed the attacks.
The Goodyear Fire Department, invites residents to join together for this event and in their ongoing public outreach programs. Their education efforts include water and helmet safety, smoke alarms, and more.
