The Gold Canyon Business Association has been dissolved and replaced with the Gold Canyon Chamber of Commerce.

“Due to the devastating effects of COVID, and the continuous struggles of rebuilding our own businesses ... our organization has been less than effective,” Pam Burks, GCBA’s publicity chair, said in a release. “Our board of directors have unanimously approved a proposal of dissolution of the Gold Canyon Business Association, the GCBA.”

Burks is now the communication director for the Gold Canyon Chamber of Commerce.

“They are also a nonprofit, established and ‘officially’ recognized by Pinal County government and all Arizona chamber of commerce organizations — an achievement not acquired by the GCBA. By joining them, you will gain more exposure for your businesses and we will have a more collective voice regarding economic development in the Gold Canyon the Superstition Mountain communities,” she said. “Our membership drive is in full swing and you can become a member for only $99 for a one-year membership. Our goal is to ‘lead local business into the future,’ and as we all know, we are always stronger together. ‘Don’t be stealth let us help.’”

For information and to view board members and advisors, go to goldcanyonchamber.org or call Burks at 480-214-5555 or 480-267-2286.

“Let’s plan and work together to strengthen and support our local business communities,” Burks said.
