In Celebration of Library Month, the Northwest Regional Library, 16089 N. Bullard Ave., and Friends of the Surprise Libraries used bookstore will have a grand reopening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15.

Friends of Surprise Libraries to host reopening party

In Celebration of Library Month, the Northwest Regional Library, 16089 N. Bullard Ave., and Friends of the Surprise Libraries used bookstore will have a grand reopening from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 15.

Kona Ice and Sandwich Street gourmet sandwiches will join the Surprise Party truck on the south entrance to the library.

Stop in the bookstore and see what books, DVDs and magazines are for sale.

Bring cash or checkbook for the bookstore.

Friends is a nonprofit charity that supports teachers and reading programs in 37 schools in the Surprise area through its grant program.

It also supports the three public libraries in Surprise and the El Mirage library.
