Food pantry sets fall distributions

Kiwanis Club of Litchfield Park, organizers of the weekly drive-thru food pantry distributions at Barbara B. Robey Elementary School, has announced fall dates for drive-thru distribution.

Volunteers hand out fresh food and staples in the school parking lot, 5340 N. Wigwam Blvd. in Litchfield Park, in conjunction with the Agua Fria Food and Clothing Bank and St. Mary’s Food Bank.

Fall distributions will run from 6:30 to 8 a.m. Saturdays, Oct. 3, 10, 17 and 24; Nov. 7, 14, 21 and 28; and Dec. 5, 12 and 19. The pantry will be closed Saturday, Dec. 26.

Patrons are asked to stay in their vehicles. Volunteers will load food boxes into their trunks.
