FBI seeks Glendale bank robbery suspect

The FBI is seeking the public’s help in identifying a suspect in two bank robberies.

The most recent happened around 9:20 a.m. Nov. 7 at Wells Fargo, 5503 W. Northern Ave., Glendale. The suspect approached an open teller and presented a demand note. The teller did not comply with the demand and didn’t give the suspect any money. The suspect then fled the bank on foot.

The first occurred around 11:15 a.m. Nov. 2 at Chase Bank, 9490 W. Camelback Road, Glendale. The suspect provided a demand note and fled with a known amount of money.

The suspect is described as a white/Hispanic man in his 30s or 40s, between 5 feet 4 inches tall and 5 feet 7 inches tall,

He was last seen wearing a dark blue beanie-style hat, a blue sweatshirt, and dark sunglasses on his head. The suspect has also been seen wearing a black baseball-style hat, a black and gray sweatshirt, gray shorts, and dark-colored tennis shoes.

The unknown suspect stated that he had a handgun during one of the incidents.
