Surprise police are searching for suspect in fatal shooting

Surprise police are seeking the public’s help in locating a suspect in a fatal shooting from earlier this week.
They identified Felix Omar Zapata, 44, as the suspect in a shooting from Sunday morning near 163rd Avenue and Jomax Road. Around 2 a.m., police responded to a shooting call at a residence. Upon arrival, police located three victims with gunshot wounds.
Police said one victim was pronounced dead on scene, and two others were transported to a local hospital for medical attention.
Felix Omar Zapata is described as a Hispanic male, about 5 feet 8 inches tall and 220 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
