Dysart district COVID-19 case load drops by 25 in week

In its update of the documented COVID-19 cases at its schools released Jan. 26, the Dysart Unified School District reported 108 cases.

In contrast, the district reported 133 cases Jan. 19. The bulk of the decrease is on elementary school campuses.

Here are the cases as of Jan. 26, listed by the highest number to lowest followed by the campus:
• 16 — Valley Vista High.
• 14 — Shadow Ridge High.
• 9 — Countryside Elementary.
• 8 — Willow Canyon High.
• 7 — Dysart High and Marley Park Elementary.
• 6 — Sundown Mountain Alternative School.
• 5 — Dysart, El Mirage and Sunset Hills elementaries.
• 4 — Cimarron Springs Elementary.
• 3 — Rancho Gabriela and Sonoran Heights elementaries.
• 2 — Canyon Ridge, Luke, Surprise and Western Peak elementaries and District facilities.
• 1 — Asante Preparatory, Freedom Traditional, and Kingswood, Mountain View, Riverview and Thompson Ranch elementaries
