Dish Network offers up reward to watch Stephen King marathon

Dish Network is offering up a reward of $1,300 to one person capable of sitting through a marathon of 13 movies based on Stephen King novels.

The Englewood, Colorado-based television provider will offer to the reward for someone who can complete the task by Halloween.

Applications will be accepted until 5 pm. Oct. 8 at this link. Applicants must say why they want to be frightened in less than 200 words, and they can include a video of why this would be their dream job.

Dish Network sponsored a similar contest in 2019 and received more than 500,000 applications.
