Cobblestone Auto Spa buys $4M Scottsdale office condo

Posted

Cobblestone Auto Spa recently purchased a Bahia 101 office condominium at 8900 E. Bahia Dr. for its corporate headquarters.

The company paid $4 million for the 12,688-square-foot suite as part of expansion plans, according to a press release, noting the Cobblestone Auto Spa suite was sold fully-furnished with custom office furniture, workstations, conference and break rooms.

“Right now, buyers are taking advantage of low interest rates,” says Philip Wurth, executive vice president of Colliers International in Arizona, in a prepared statement.

“Cobblestone was able to expand its headquarters for less than the cost to lease space. The purchase of space at Bahia 101 allowed the company to stay in Scottsdale and continue taking advantage of freeway exposure along the Loop 101.”

Cobblestone Auto Spa, represented by Jim Wilson of Cushman & Wakefield, purchased the property from West End Hotel, LLC of Los Angeles as Mr. Wurth and Jim Keeley of Colliers International in Arizona served as exclusive listing agents for the property, the release said.

Bahia 101,  constructed in 2017, is located at the Loop 101 and Bell Road. The property offers visible building signage fronting the freeway, according to the release.

The three-story, modern office building has a glass façade, second story balconies, views of the McDowell Mountains and contemporary interior finishes.

Cobblestone Auto Spa has expanded and selected the suite for growing needs. Since 1987, Cobblestone is a full-service and express car care destination with 24 locations throughout the valley and has six locations under construction.
