Chandler-Gilbert college VP takes step in South Mountain CC president search

Veronica Hipolito, vice president of Student Affairs at Chandler-Gilbert Community College, is among four finalists for the presidency of South Mountain Community College in Phoenix.
Hipolito, who has more than 20 years of experience in higher education, was scheduled to participate Monday, Sept. 19, along with three other candidates, in public forums.

Hipolito recently served as the interim president of Scottsdale Community College.
The other finalists are:
Dr. Richard Daniel, executive vice president and chief operating officer of Education Forward Arizona.
Dr. Tanisha M.J. Maxwell, chief student services officer at Los Medanos College.
Dr. Janet Ortega, interim president of South Mountain Community College.
