Cadillac Angels take the stage at Westgate Friday night

Posted

The Cadillac Angels perform 7 p.m. Friday, Nov. 8 at Fountain Park inside Westgate’s Entertainment District, 6751 N. Sunset Blvd.

Fronted by bandleader and singer/songwriter/guitarist Tony Balbinot, the trio are, in their words, “American music.” Their music’s roots derive from rock and roll, and urban/Delta blues.

“A personal, hybrid sound, rooted in hard drivin’ electric guitar,” the band’s website states. “Songs of love and life seen through eyes of a lonesome traveler.”

They name Link Wray, Buddy Holly, Freddy King, The Blasters and Jimmy Reed among their influences.

The Cadillac Angels have released more than 10 full length original CDs, and has played most of the U.S. and over seven countries in Great Britain and Western Europe.
