CAC accepting applications for popular nursing program
Posted
Central Arizona College is now accepting applications for its new Licensed Practical Nurse to Registered Nurse Bridge Program.
The program is designed for current Arizona LPNs looking to earn their Associate of Applied Science-Nursing degree.
According to a CAC press release, in two-and-a-half semesters students receive the education to earn an AAS-Nursing degree and sit for the Arizona Board of Nursing NCLEX RN exam to become a registered nurse.
The course sequence begins for new students each fall and spring semester with a summer course preceding.
Acceptance into CAC’s LPN to RN Bridge Program is highly competitive with class space being limited, the release stated.
Those interested in additional information or an application to the program must attend a nursing information session where they can obtain an application. Information sessions are held monthly during the academic year.
To view the monthly dates for information sessions and obtain the Zoom meeting link or to review the program requirements, visit https://centralaz.edu/bridge.
CAC has five campuses across Pinal County in Coolidge, Winkelman, Maricopa, Apache Junction, Casa Grande and San Tan Valley.
