Arizona at 18,170 deaths of COVID-19

Arizona has added 1,528 cases and 26 deaths of COVID-19 overnight, according to the state Department of Health Services.

As of the morning of Saturday, July 24, the ADHS reports 915,660 positive cases and 18,170 deaths of the coronavirus.

  • Gila County: 231
  • Graham County: 87
  • Greenlee County: 10
  • La Paz County: 78
  • Maricopa County: 10,416
  • Mohave County: 778
  • Navajo County: 557
  • Pima County: 2,459
  • Pinal County: 921
  • Santa Cruz County: 181
  • Yavapai County: 536
  • Yuma County: 852

For most people, the coronavirus causes mild or moderate symptoms, such as fever and cough that clear up in two to three weeks. But for some — especially older adults and people with existing health problems — it can cause more severe illness, including pneumonia, and death.
