Independent Newsmedia
All Queen Creek municipal buildings are closed to the public to help slow the spread of COVID-19.
The town will continue to provide services to the public online and via the phone at 480-358-3000. The closure does not impact the delivery of critical services as staff will still report to the facilities or in an authorized telecommute situation, according to a release.
The Town of Queen Creek is working closely with officials from the state of Arizona, as well as Maricopa and Pinal counties, to share information and resources with residents and employees about coronavirus, also known as COVID-19.
The governor issued an executive order that requires restaurants in Arizona counties with confirmed COVID-19 cases --- both Maricopa and Pinal --- to provide dine-out options only, and that all bars in those counties close. This also applies to movie theaters and gyms. Learn more.
At the March 18 meeting, the Queen Creek Town Council approved an emergency declaration related to COVID-19. It will help mitigate the impacts on the community as it allows the town to begin the process of accessing funding, programs and resources from the state and federal government, as they become available.
The Town of Queen Creek is committed to helping slow the spread of COVID-19. Following the recommendations from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the town is alo taking the following actions until further notice:
