ALA Applied Technologies, 7729 E. Pecos Road in Mesa, is hosting a special event 8 a.m.-1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 24, showcasing its 10 academies at a car show and academy expo.
At the event, families and community members will have the opportunity to see its 10 academies in action. Each of the academies will have a designated station that will showcase unique aspects of their industry, including a new addition to the first-responder academy, its military program, which will launch in January 2023, according to a release.
“We will have a fantastic car show for our automotive academy, our hospitality academy will be selling baked goods, students will be flying drones in the 13,000-square-foot airplane hangar and our cosmetology academy will be offering complimentary mini treatments,” the release states.
