The Arizona Department of Health Services reported 16 new coronavirus cases in the Litchfield Park 85340 ZIP code over the week ending Friday, June 18, nine fewer than the 25 new weekly cases reported last Friday.
That brings the overall tally of cases in the 85340 ZIP code to 3,996.
The ZIP code includes the city of Litchfield Park and unincorporated Maricopa County. The state does not separate cases by incorporated and unincorporated areas.
The agency said more than 90% of cases were mapped to the address of the patient’s residence:

As of June 15, Maricopa County health officials reported that 44% of all county residents and 51% of county residents 10 and older had received at least one dose of the COVID-19 vaccine.
According to the website, 3,618,299 vaccine doses had been administered to Maricopa County residents. Of those, 1,834,222 were first dose, 1,865,632 were second dose and 24,734 were unknown.
In Litchfield Park 85340, 57.2% of the eligible population had received their first dose and 50.4% had received their second dose.
