Waste Management Phoenix Open has free admission on ‘Ford Free Days’

Posted

All fans can enjoy free admission on Monday, Jan. 27 and Tuesday, Jan. 28 at the Waste Management Phoenix Open as part of “Ford Free Days.”

Courtesy of Arizona Ford Dealers --- the official vehicle of the Waste Management Phoenix Open Presented by The Ak-Chin Indian Community --- as part of the renewed partnership, the third annual closest-to-the-pin contest called “FORD Drive for Your Ride” will be held on the 16th hole, according to a press release.

Players will have a chance to win a 2020 Ford Explorer and to give a new 2020 Ford Explorer to one of 11 local non-profit organizations, stated the release.

“This marks the fifth consecutive year our event and Ford have teamed up to offer free admission to all of our fans,” said Tournament Chairman Tim Woods in a prepared statement.

“Ford has been an outstanding partner. We’re thrilled to offer Ford Free Days once again, but even more so to share a common commitment to our local communities.”

Monday’s schedule includes practice rounds by PGA TOUR players and the Coors Light Pro-Am. Tuesday will include practice rounds, the R.S. Hoyt Jr. Family Foundation Dream Day and the popular San Tan Ford Special Olympics Open.

“The Arizona Ford dealers are delighted about the opportunity to bring Ford Free Days and Drive for Your Ride to the Waste Management Phoenix Open. We hope everyone is able to come out and enjoy Monday and Tuesday as well as the rest of the tournament,” said Arizona Ford Dealers Chairman Tim Hovik in a prepared statement.

“The Arizona Ford Dealers are proud to be a part of a tournament that gives so much back to the local community and deserving causes throughout Arizona.”

The Arizona Ford Dealers will also hold the Second annual #BestNightEver experience in conjunction with KMLE 107.9 at the Coors Light Birds Nest, the release said.

Starting now, fans can text the code word found at each of the 13 participating metro Phoenix Ford dealers for a chance to win tickets to the Dierks Bentley concert.

On Thursday, Jan. 30, the winner, with a guest, will “receive the #BestNightEver,” to receive exclusive access to the concert and artist in the form of tickets, backstage passes to meet Dierks and a signed Dierks Bentley guitar for the Friday, Jan. 31 show.

As the official vehicle of the Waste Management Phoenix Open, Arizona Ford dealers will provide more than 150 courtesy vehicles during tournament week to transport PGA TOUR players, tournament officials and Waste Management Phoenix Open staff.

Those vehicles, primarily 2020 F-150, and 2020 Explorers will be for sale at the Phoenix metro Ford Dealerships following the tournament, the release noted.

The 2020 Waste Management Phoenix Open Presented by The Ak-Chin Indian Community will be held at TPC Scottsdale Jan. 27 – Feb. 2.
