Update: Scottsdale PD releases names of murder-suicide couple

Posted

Police officials have released the two names of the Scottsdale couple who died as a result of a suspected murder-suicide on Sunday, April 11.

The victim has been identified as 28-year-old Molly Elizabeth Lillard. The husband, 36-year-old Royce Dale Lillard III, has been identified as the suspect.

Additionally, police say the couple’s 8-month-old child was present at the time of the incident.

“That child was not injured and currently is in the care of family,” police said in a prepared statement.

At this time, “all indications are that this was a murder-suicide,” police say.

Officials say there are no further updates at this time.
