UBS taps Ryan Lurie to oversee firm’s Arizona offices

Global wealth manager UBS Wealth Management has announced a new head to lead the firm’s offices in Scottsdale and Phoenix.
Ryan Lurie, APMA (Accredited Portfolio Management Advisor) will be based in the Scottsdale office and will oversee financial advisors and support staff for the firm in Phoenix and Scottsdale, according to a press release.
Lurie will be responsible for handling client accounts and development of UBS’s wealth management business in the area, by expanding the firm’s business activities in Arizona, recruiting new advisors as well as coaching team members.
According to the press release, Lurie had spent seven years with Ameriprise in Phoenix where he was most recently a Managing Director. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Florida.
Lurie will report to Justin Frame, who is the UBS Market Executive for the Pacific Desert Market, which includes San Diego, Orange County, Hawaii, Indian Wells/Riverside, and Arizona.
