Through May 29, residents are invited to join weekly Sunday night concerts at Scottsdale’s McCormick-Stillman Railroad park.
The free events are 7:30-9 p.m. every Sunday, showcasing a variety of local bands.
Participants are invited to bring a blanket or chair and relax in the park.
Snacks can be purchased from Hartley’s General Store, a food truck onsite or bring a packed picinic.
Train and carousel rides are offered for $3; and children two and under ride free with a paying adult.
The slated concert schedule is:
- May 8: Groove Merchants: a 1940s to today with hot horn section band;
- May 15: Outside the Line: a funk, dance and motown band
- May 22: Smashed: a ‘90s classics to today’s hits band
- May 29: Studio 54: Disco explosion band
