The role of those we elect to office in Scottsdale

People elect their council people and mayors to make decisions for the city or county they reside in. With a mere 20,000 signatures in Scottsdale, this prevented those elected to do what they were elected to accomplish in regard to Axon. Same for the loss of our NHL team.
Democracy was electing those to office, not trying to circumvent their authority through another election or a minimally signed petition. People have their choice when voting, that should be the last we hear from those opposed to policies enacted by their representative.
