The Marshall Gallery to celebrate 20 years, Nov. 9

The Marshall Gallery on Scottsdale’s Main Street will host its 20th Anniversary Extravaganza for the public from 3 to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Nov. 9.
The 20th anniversary event will feature live artists, including several artists’ visits, demonstrations and mini-lectures, music and refreshments plus interaction with some artists considered “living masters, according to a press release.
Noted for its fine art, The Marshall Gallery also said to be known for its storied concert series was founded in 1999 by renowned Phoenix attorney DeeAn Gillespie as a “patent relief valve from the rigors of the law,” according to the release.
The Utah native successfully created a showcase for “the excellent artwork of the Utah school, which enjoys a justifiable reputation for profound classical and contemporary art,” the release said.
The Marshall Gallery, 7106 E. Main St., represents national and international artists showing their creations in the large Scottsdale gallery.
