The Charro Lodge debuts at Scottsdale Polo Championships at WestWorld

Ticket proceeds benefit The Charro Foundation

The Scottsdale Charros, who is best known for hosting “The Charros Lodge” at Scottsdale Stadium during Spring Training to benefit charity have joined the Polo line-up for 2021.

Since 1961 The Scottsdale Charro Foundation has supported community organizations annually through its grants and donations throughout its 60-year history, giving over $20 million to the Scottsdale community through its grants and donations.

For the first time in The Polo Party’s history the Scottsdale Charros will join the event with a new experience at the 10th Annual Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships: Presented by Talking Stick Resort to be held at WestWorld of Scottsdale on Saturday, Oct. 23.

The Scottsdale Charros invite polo goers to purchase an advance ticket for The Charro Lounge: a VIP, field-side experience for a good cause.

Tickets are $100 and include entry into the field-side shaded Charro Lounge, a complimentary barbecue lunch, and one whiskey cocktail for each guest 21 years of age and older.

The Charro Lounge ticket purchasers will also enjoy live country music inside the tent and access to the entire event including four polo matches and events within the event.

Proceeds from the Charro Lounge will benefit The Charro Foundation, which provides scholarship and grant opportunities to educators and students.

“A number of The Scottsdale Charros have attended the Bentley Scottsdale Polo Championships over the years and we are extremely thrilled to finally be a part of this incredible event and the 10th Anniversary,” said Dennis Robbins, executive director of The Scottsdale Charros. “This will be our first year but we are hoping to grow our presence for future years and can’t wait for what we know will be a fantastic afternoon on Oct. 23."

The Charro Lounge is just one of several new additions this year as Scottsdale’s most attended polo event in the country celebrates 10 years.
