Close: Support the override, the backbone of our city

I strongly encourage our community to vote in favor of the M&O Override for the Scottsdale Unified School District. As a proud resident of South Scottsdale, maintaining the value and safety of our neighborhoods is of paramount importance to me.

Even though my son graduated from the district many years ago, I recognize that strong and well-supported public schools are the backbone of safe neighborhoods, and in turn critical for maintaining the value of my home. Supporting this override is not just an investment in education, but a commitment to the well-being and prosperity of the entire community.

The continuation of full-day kindergarten is also a pivotal factor in early development and it is critical that all our kids start first grade with the same preparation.
