Arizona Foundation for Women, a state research, advocacy and philanthropy organization bringing women’s needs to the forefront, recently elected three new members to its board of directors.
“We are excited to have these talented and influential community members join our board,” Maureen Bussoletti, AFW’s board chair, stated in the release.
AFW’s mission includes supporting women to help them overcome the barriers that confine their power and potential.
“We are confident that their commitment and passion will help advance our mission to ensure the safety, health and economic empowerment of women in Arizona,” Bussoletti stated.
AFW’s three new members of the board of directors are Juliet Burgess, Tracy DeSoto and Annabelle Salcedo.
Burgess is the founding attorney at The Burgess Law Group and has been practicing labor and employment law as well as commercial litigation in Arizona for over 17 years. Additionally, she is co-founder of The Aggregate, an organization that connects, inspires and supports women in law and beyond.
DeSoto is director of financial services content and implementation at the University of Phoenix and is also the owner of Master Your Potential. With Master Your Potential, she aims to help professional women identify growth opportunities through one-on-one coaching and group workshops.
Salcedo works as the banking market director of JPMorgan Chase for the Arizona north Scottsdale market and has been with the company for 19 years.
“We are honored to have Juliet, Tracy, and Annabelle, each truly passionate about elevating women, join our robust board leadership and move our strategic vision forward,” Mesha Davis, CEO of AFW, stated in the release.
