Stammen: I love roundabouts

I recently read an opinion discussing a reader’s dislike for roundabouts. I wanted to express an opposite view.

I think they are terrific and I really appreciate approaching a roundabout at an intersection. They are faster, more efficient and much smoother than stop lights or stop signs. The traffic flows much faster through a roundabout. Bottom line, I love them.
