After eight years at the same rate, breakfasts and lunches served by Scottsdale Unified School District to students will cost 30% to 60% more next year. Exactly how much a student meal will cost now depends on factors including the student’s grade and type of meal. Here’s what readers had to say on NextDoor:
“Appropriate considering how much the cost of food has gone up.” — Scott Ross
“What are the other districts charging nearby?” — Diane Jaquith
“I don’t think families with a Paradise Valley or Scottsdale zip code are going to be too concerned.” — Mark B.
